Specific Privacy Notices

These notices supplement the Sip805 Privacy Policy. They apply only where the relevant law applies to Sip805 and to you. If a provision below conflicts with our general Privacy Policy, this notice controls for the residents covered by that provision.
California notice at collection
Sip805 may collect the following categories of personal information. We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described below, including providing the service, maintaining business and security records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.
- Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, phone number, account identifiers, and authentication information.
- Reservation and activity information: winery, date and time, party size, seating preference, reservation status, visit history, and cancellation activity.
- Preferences and information you choose to provide: special occasions, wine-club status, mailing-list choice, accessibility or allergy information, and reservation or support notes.
- Internet and device activity: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, interactions, cookies, and similar analytics information.
- Age-verification information: date of birth and related information used to confirm eligibility for an alcohol-related service.
- Communications and derived information: messages sent through Sip805 and preferences or recommendations inferred from your use of the service.
Why we collect and use information
We use these categories to create and manage accounts and reservations; provide confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and support; share booking details with the winery you selected; verify age; secure and troubleshoot the service; prevent misuse; understand and improve Sip805; provide features and recommendations you request; honor marketing choices; and comply with law.
How information is disclosed
We disclose reservation information to the winery you select so it can manage and host your visit. We also disclose information to service providers that help us operate Sip805, such as cloud hosting, authentication, data storage, analytics, and transactional email providers. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
Sip805 does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. If these practices change, we will update this notice and provide any legally required choices before using information in that way.
Your California privacy rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may have the right to know and access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information subject to legal exceptions, receive a portable copy, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights.
Submitting a request
Email support@sip805.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and describe the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect your account. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may reply to ask us to review the decision. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Other state privacy laws
Residents of states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of their personal information and may exercise applicable opt-out or appeal rights by using the process above. Available rights and exceptions vary by state.
