This gem of a vineyard resides at an elevation of 242 feet in the Green Valley, capturing the maritime fog after it passes through the Petaluma Gap. Garnet in color, with aromas of strawberry and rose petal; bright red fruit flavors linger on the palate with gentle mouth-coating tannins.

Poletti-Edna Ranch

The Poletti portion of our home vineyard, Edna Ranch, is located on the mountainside slopes of the Edna Valley in the San Luis Obispo Coast AVA. Pure, rich aromas of honeydew, Fuji apple and poached pear are mixed with notes of citrus blossom, pastry cream and toast. Medium-bodied, rich, youthful flavors of lemon curd, nectarine and yellow apple accented by a layered minerality and bright acidity.

The 2023 Primera Pinot Noir is Tolosa's finest expression of Edna Ranch, crafted from the best barrels in California's coolest AVA. Lush notes of dark cherry, plum, and boysenberry intertwine with earthy mushroom, cocoa, and lavender, leading to a silky, lingering finish.
